A school in Eldoret, Kenya reached out a year ago to ask for pens and pencils and there hasn’t been anyone traveling in that direction to that school. A few people were asked if their donated money could be used to send pens and pencils through the mail. It took a bit of research, and the USPS had the best system, so a large flat rate box was stuffed with 712 pencils and 355 pens for the 300 children. We are so happy to report that in 5 days, the Headmaster received the box! Since that time, I have also been able to contact the Kenyan embassy who will help us in the future. School starts in 2 weeks for them, so timing was perfect. Happy learning to the Pre-school, Nursery and primary school!!
